Training Requirements
EJet500 EJet500 Pilot Training and Services offers FAA approved and certified Initial Training, Recurrent Training, Differences Training (all aircraft versions) and Mentoring.
Remember all EJet500 training is FAA approved.

Initial Training Program Requirements
This training program is designed to be equivalent to the manufacturer’s FAA-approval initial training program. It conforms to the guidelines obtained in AC 61-137, Approval of Manufacturers’ Required Training Programs. It incorporates the following components of the manufacturer’s program.
Recurrent Training Program Requirements
As of October 31, 2012, Eclipse 500 pilots whether operating “single-pilot” or “dual-pilot,” are required to have annual PIC proficiency checks (14 CFR 61.58). This checkride must be administered by an examiner approved by the FAA Administrator. That includes, FAA Ops Inspectors, DPEs, TPEs (simulator check airmen) or PPEs. All EJet500 instructors are PPEs.
Mentoring Program Requirements
Pre-mentoring activities: Initial customer and mentor contact will be handled through EJet500. Discussion and agreement as to mentor pilot insurance requirements, compensation, expense reimbursement and scheduling expectations will be worked out before and separate from discussions of mentoring operations.
FIKI/AVIO NG 1.5, 1.7, 2.0 and 2.7 (EA550)/AP VERSION 2 differences training requirements.
The EJet500 differences training program is designed to provide a detailed description of and hands-on practice in the functions and operations of the Avio NG 1.5 avionics suite and FIKI aircraft improvements, including new system components, normal and abnormal operations. This training program applies only to those pilots who have already completed initial ground training in the aircraft Avio NG avionics suite. It is designed to satisfy the training recommendations of the EA500 FSB Report for the EA-500 with Avio NG 1.5/FIKI upgrade.
